Jones, George (1896-1992)

George Jones was appointed chief of staff of the Royal Australian Air Force in June 1942. His tenure was marked by poor relations with William Bostock, the commander of RAAF Command, aggravated by the divided command arrangements that left it unclear whether Bostock was subordinate to Jones or not.
