Den Pasar (115.222E 8.656S) was a town with a primitive airstrip near on a peninsula on the south coast of Bali. There was a detachment of Dutch troops here when war broke out. The airfield was seized by the Japanese on 18 February 1942, leading to the Battle of Bandung Strait.
