Gong Kedah ("Runcie's Airstrip"; 102.484E
5.801N) was a newly developed Royal Air Force airfield
near Kota Baharu on the north
coast of Malaya. When war broke
out, only 7 Vildebeeste of 36
Squadron were based here.
