The Nakajima Ha-5
was an air-cooled 14-cylinder radial engine using the same
cylinder design as the Kotobuki but
in a double row. It became the basis for the Ha-41 and Ha-109. The Ha-5 was
adopted by the Japanese Army as
the Type 97.
