Kuomintang 9 War Area

The Kuomintang 9th War Area took in northwest Kiangsi, south Hupei, and Hunan. Because this formation won a significant victory against the Japanese shortly before Pearl Harbor, it received unusual attention and its dispositions are somewhat better known than those of other Chinese formations for 7 December 1941.
