Tachishan

Tachishan (Dajishan; 114.364E 24.606N) is the center of a tungsten mining district in southern China. This area had been controlled by the Kiangsi Soviet prior to the Long March, and the tungsten was an important source of revenue for the early Chinese Communist movement, allowing the Communists to bribe local warlords. Production totaled about 8090 tons per year in Kiangsi province during the Pacific War.
