Kanchow (Ganzhou; 114.94E 25.85N) is a city on the upper Kan River of southern Kiangsi provice, China. Kanhsien airfield was located nearby. The city was a center for the tungsten trade, with numerous nearby mines such as those around Tachishan.
The town was occupied by the Japanese on 7 February 1945 but liberated by Chinese troops on 17 July 1945.
