Cagayan Del Oro (124.757E 8.498N) is a small port and road junction on the north coast of Mindanao. There was an airstrip nearby.
The area was seized by 41 Regiment (Kawamura) in early March 1942.
It was recaptured in May 1945 by 108 Regiment.
