Ishizaki Noboro (1893-1958)

Ishizaki Noboro was given command of Submarine Squadron 8 when it was organized at Penang in March 1942. In April 1942, on orders from Yamamoto, he sailed with his submarine force to launch a midget submarine raid on Deigo Suarez, Madagascar.
