Kakamura Museum of Literature
Marquis Maeda (Maeda Toshinari according to some sources)
was born to an aristocratic family and served briefly in the House of
Peers before graduating near the top of his class at the military
academy. He was called out of retirement to command Borneo
Defense Army. However, he was killed in an air accident on a flight to Labuan early in the war.
