Nha Trang (109.183E 12.250N) is a city on the coast of French Indochina (present-day Vietnam) established by the Marquis de Barthelmy in 1793. The Japanese based a handful of Nates from 84 Squadron at the airfield here to provide air cover for invasion convoys assembed at nearby Cam Ranh for their southeast Asian offensive of 1941-1942.
The railway here was attacked by B-24 Liberators on 7 May 1945.
