Soebang (Subang; 107.75E
6.57S) was a rail head in northwest Java.
The town fell to the Japanese in March 1942, early in their invasion of Java. According to the Tokyo International Military Tribunal, the Japanese murdered a nurse at the military hospital, along with her patients and a number of civilian women and children.
