The Hitachi
Amakaze ("Rainy Wind") was a low-power air-cooled nine-cylinder
radial engine. It was also known as the Tempu ("Heavenly Wind") or
the GK2C. It was a naval development of the Ha-13 and had a
joint designation of [Ha-23]33 indicating a bore of 140mm and
stroke of 150mm. It was rated at 640 horsepower or 480 kW.
