Djokjakarta (Yokyakarta; 110.37E
7.80S) is a city in central Java.
It had a commercial airfield when war
broke out in the Pacific, which based Vk.A.2 with 11 P-36s. After war broke out, the B-17s of 7 Bombardment Group were based here. It was the last of the airfields on Java demolished by the Dutch, on 1 March 1942, shortly before its fall to the Japanese.
