Marumo Kuninori (1891-1985)

Marumo commanded Cruiser Division 18 at Truk when war broke out. His division escorted the force that seized Tulagi during the Battle of the Coral Sea, May 1942. He spent most of the last part of the war as naval attaché to the puppet state of Manchukuo.
