Owada Noboru (1893-1960)

Owada Noboru commanded Submarine Squadron 7 at Truk in mid-1944. His submarines participated in the Leyte campaign but with little success. He commanded 10 Special Attack Squadron in Japan in 1945. This squadron was equipped with manned torpedoes and suicide boats.
